AEMO have announced new requirements for all network applications where dynamic modelling is required. A new pre-qualification step named Dynamic Model Acceptance Testing (DMAT) involving over 600 tests across PSCAD and PSS/E has been added to the now 5 stage approval process. This change affects all renewable energy plants larger than 5MW and any smaller sites where generator registration is required.
Fortunately for our clients, CTP have been able to immediately adapt to the additional approval step. By employing our multi-processor optimised scripts we are able to automate over 90% of this new modelling stage. With this approach we can offer a cost effective and time efficient solution to developers who have been caught offside by this new requirement.
