Nathan is a Power Systems Engineer with over ten years of experience performing technical consultancy services to several key customers, generator connection grid modelling services and leading site engineering activities for power distribution networks. Previous roles have included working at Australia’s largest aluminium smelter and electrical engineering consulting in the UK. Nathan has a Bachelor of Engineering majoring in Power Systems from Victoria University and is a Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia.

As Power Systems Team Leader at CTP, Nathan is the stakeholder interface for utility-scale Power Systems projects with the engineering team. He has performed, validated and managed grid modelling services for a wide range of generation technologies and plant sizes throughout the generator Connection and Registration process from Pre-Feasibility to Completion for different NSPs across Australia. Some of his duties include assessing compliance of generating systems to the technical requirements of the NER, Steady State Studies, Dynamic Analysis to demonstrate Generator Performance Standards and R1/R2 Modelling Package Validation.

Nathan can assist clients in navigating through the connection process from start to finish with experience in power systems modelling, project management, grid compliance, asynchronous generation technologies and generator connection negotiations.
